Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender to join our team at our beachside location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional beverage service, creating memorable guest experiences, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a quick, self-reliant, and independent individual who is also a team player and people-oriented. The position involves preparing and serving a variety of cocktails and beverages, processing cash transactions, and ensuring the bar area remains clean and organized. Prior experience in the hospitality industry, food service, and restaurant environments is essential to succeed in this role. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages with expertise in mixology and beverage recipe development. Demonstrate extensive spirits knowledge to recommend drinks and educate guests on beverage options. Operate POS systems efficiently to process cash transactions accurately. Provide friendly, attentive service to guests, ensuring a positive experience at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Stay updated on current beverage trends and continually enhance cocktail skills. Engage with guests in a personable manner, fostering a welcoming environment at our beachside location. Qualifications Proven experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant environments, preferably as a bartender. Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques. Experience with POS systems for processing transactions accurately. Ability to work quickly and independently in a fast-paced setting while remaining self-reliant. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Hospitality industry experience is highly preferred. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
