Located in Asbury (not Asbury Park!) of Hunterdon County, Ironbound Farm + Ciderhouse is a regenerative farm and cidery whose Tasting Room offers a farm-to-table food program, craft ciders, house-blended wines, and unique cider-based cocktails. We are a NJ destination that has been featured in Food + Wine, Edible Jersey, New Jersey Monthly, Lehigh Valley Style, Food Network magazines, PBS network, and more. Our interior dining room is located within a historic barn and seats up to 50 people for Friday dinner, weekend brunch, and weekend dinner service. Our full-service indoor bar offers our full beverage portfolio, including original cider cocktails and limited-release ciders. This bar requires an ability to manage a service bar in addition to 8 bar seats with full food + beverage service. Our outdoor bar is a casual high-volume bar that serves draft pours, batched cocktails, and our farmed-up street food takeaway offering.

The role:

We are looking for a part-time server/bartender to join us for our busy season. We are focusing on staffing our interior dining room as well as our indoor and outdoor bars . We are seeking weekend availability and prioritizing candidates with full weekend availability. Our service hours include :

Friday:

5-9

PM Saturday:

10AM-9

PM Sunday:

10AM-8

PM Qualifications :

Serving experience is a must . Although this role includes bartending, our staffing model requires bartenders to help on the floor as needed. Experience in a high-volume beverage setting with draft pours, wine by the glass, and made-to-order cocktails. This includes being able to articulate a nuanced beverage program to guests. Proficiency with point of sale systems - SpotOn experience a plus! Attention to detail with steps of service, table maintenance, bar/server area organization, and general spatial awareness. Must be able to work weekends and some holidays (including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter, etc.. we are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve + Day, New Year's Eve + Day, and on the Super Bowl!)
