Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Maintain a well-stocked bar with supplies and ingredients
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
• Upsell additional food and beverage items to customers
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient bar operations

Skills:

• Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
• Strong hospitality skills to provide excellent customer service
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
• Sales skills to upsell additional food and beverage items
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
• Proficiency in cash handling procedures, including operating a cash register
• Familiarity with restaurant or food service operations
• Understanding of retail math for pricing drinks and calculating sales
