Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; process payments efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and place orders for bar stock to ensure seamless service during busy hours. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs, recognizing signs of intoxication, and adhering to all legal requirements. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending within fine dining, nightclubs, or catering environments; previous bar management experience is a plus. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage presentation. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Food safety certification or knowledge of food industry standards is preferred.
