Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly. Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using retail math skills. Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies; assist with stock ordering when necessary. Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age regulations. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy periods or special events such as catering functions or nightclub nights. Uphold a lively yet safe environment by managing guest interactions professionally and addressing any issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, casual dining, nightclub, or hospitality settings; previous bar management experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, and beverage presentation. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills during high-volume shifts. Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards preferred but not required. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and accurate transaction processing. Experience working in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or catering events is desirable. Strong communication skills coupled with a positive attitude; team-oriented mindset essential for success in hospitality roles.
