Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Utilize Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Engage with customers to provide excellent service and build rapport, enhancing their overall experience. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including processing payments and providing change. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy shifts. Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively upsell products. Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and ensure responsible serving practices. Requirements Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or event center setting is preferred. Familiarity with Micros POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed in the hospitality industry. A passion for brewing craft cocktails and knowledge of various beverages is desirable.
