CLUB INFORMATION

Founded in 1900, the Lancaster Country Club is a highly ranked Platinum Club of America and is one of the finest private clubs in all of Pennsylvania. Facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course, 9-hole golf course, 9 tennis courts, 3 platform tennis courts, aquatic, and fitness facilities, along with two separate dining establishments located in both our Clubhouse and Activities Pavilion. LCC was recently the host of the 2024 U.S. Women's Open Championship, which was incredibly successful and brought tremendous accolades to the club. The club has become more family-oriented, featuring events and amenities for every demographic while focusing on ever increasing programs for youth, including a summer camp, swim team, youth social events as well as extensive junior golf and tennis programs.

POSITION PROFILE

Our bartenders must value service and building relationships with our membership. We are looking for candidates with sufficient wine knowledge, and familiarity with fine-dining service aspects. Our bartenders must present a positive impression of LCC's excellent service and high standards. Greets members and serves alcoholic beverages to members and guests.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY

Arrives on time, in proper uniform and ready to work according to the LCC standards. Provides a friendly, courteous and professional attitude at all times. Attends daily pre-shift meetings on time. Provides immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating and takes members' and guests' drink and food orders in a timely fashion. Rings in orders to kitchen through POS system using correct seat numbers and fires courses in a timely manner. Checks back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenishes beverages as necessary and removes soiled dishes as needed. Completes opening and closing side work in an efficient manner. Carries out any reasonable request by the Management Team to provide excellent service to our members and ensure effective teamwork. Helps other staff members whenever necessary to ensure a great dining experience for all members/guests.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must have previous restaurant bartending experience. Sufficient wine knowledge highly preferred. Must be friendly and outgoing, customer-service oriented. Must be comfortable carrying up to 50lbs, lifting, bending, reaching, being on your feet for extended periods of time. Must be available and willing to work weekends and holidays.

Hourly Rate :

Ranges between $13-$14 an hour + gratuities Banquet bar rates: $20 an hour Reports to:
