Job Description
Overview Are you someone who loves the energy of a bustling Local Sports Pub? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our team in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise in bartending and knowledge of fast paced dining & take out will enhance the overall experience for patrons, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return. Looking for someone flexible Day. Night, Weekends and Holidays. Pay Rate Does not include your Tips Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing, cash handling & 3rd Party Operations Sytesm (Doordash, Uber Eats, Ect.) Assist with inventory by monitoring stock levels of beverages and supplies, reporting as necessary. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service. Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions. Experience in dining or fast-food service establishments is preferred. Proficient in bartending techniques, including mixing drinks and pouring draught beer. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Basic understanding of retail math for managing transactions accurately. Sales skills to promote menu items effectively and increase revenue opportunities within the bar area. Previous experience in the food industry is a plus, contributing to a well-rounded skill set for this role.
