Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and assist with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative. Monitor guest behavior for safety purposes while promoting responsible alcohol service. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending within the hospitality industry, especially in fine dining or upscale environments. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, brewing processes, and spirits. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a lively yet professional atmosphere. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations. Food safety certification or knowledge of proper food handling practices preferred.
