In this vibrant role, you'll be the face of exceptional and inviting dining/beverage experiences, delivering outstanding customer service while expertly managing food and beverage orders. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied from the moment they walk through the door. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth dining flow Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing bar/tavern, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide exceptional guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions about menu items Qualifications Previous bartending and food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred (quality dining exposure a plus) Proficiency with POS systems such as Square and OpenTable for order entry and seating processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs effectively Knowledge of beverage service Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash efficiently Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards in the food industry Works well as part of a team and communicates clearly Is dependable, organized, and takes pride in their work Has an appreciation for good food, great music, design, and the little details that make a place special Brings positive energy and a genuine sense of hospitality
