Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash and credit transactions securely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to all alcohol service regulations. Restock bar supplies regularly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, to ensure smooth operation during busy hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering, banquet events, or nightclub functions to deliver seamless service experiences. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for accurate order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety at all times. Experience with retail math, basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions are necessary for efficient operations. Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing coffee or tea is a plus. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail in serving drinks and managing tabs.
