Job Summary Max Appliance Repair is hiring a Food Service Kitchen Worker to support daily kitchen and food service operations. This role supports food preparation, order support, dishwashing, cleaning, stocking, and other kitchen activities while helping maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Common Job Roles Food Service Kitchen Worker Kitchen Food Service Associate Kitchen Support Worker Food Service Worker Back-of-House Team Member Key Responsibilities Assist with basic food preparation, portioning, and ingredient organization Support cooks and kitchen staff with daily food service activities Prepare and assemble food items according to recipes and service standards Assist with packaging food and preparing customer orders Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment Maintain clean and organized kitchen, prep, storage, and service areas Restock ingredients, beverages, packaging, cleaning supplies, and kitchen materials Assist with receiving and organizing food and kitchen supply deliveries Remove trash and maintain clean waste disposal areas Monitor food and kitchen supplies and report shortages or damaged items Follow food safety, sanitation, food-handling, and workplace safety procedures Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties Perform additional food service and kitchen support tasks assigned by management Requirements Previous kitchen, restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset but not required Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn Preferred Skills Experience in commercial kitchen or food service operations Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food preparation procedures Strong organization and time management skills Ability to multitask during busy service periods Positive attitude and team-oriented approach About the Company Max Appliance Repair provides appliance repair and maintenance services focused on dependable service and customer support.
