Contract Job Duties:

Read production orders and color-coded menu cards to identify the appropriate food items for each tray. Assemble food trays accurately according to menu specifications, dietary requirements, and production orders. Prepare and portion food items for service while following established food safety and sanitation procedures. Place the correct meals, beverages, condiments, utensils, and other items on trays. Deliver prepared food trays to designated areas, patients, students, or dining patrons as required. Operate and work efficiently on a food service tray line. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, utensils, and food service stations.

Job Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in food service, cafeteria, hospital dietary services, or a related environment preferred. Ability to read and follow production orders and menu instructions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment. Good attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. 1-3 Experience with food preparing, assembling, and delivering.

Schedule:

Morning Shift 1st Shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 40 Hours per week SAL01

Pay:

$16.90 per hour
