Job Summary:

The Banquet Attendant is responsible for setting up, servicing, and breaking down banquet events according to hotel standards. This includes ensuring that all banquet areas are clean, well-organized, and properly equipped before, during, and after events. The role requires excellent customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail to ensure guest satisfaction at every function.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up banquet rooms, tables, chairs, linens, and other event materials as per event order. Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally during events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after functions. Assist in the breakdown and clean-up of banquet rooms and storage of supplies. Ensure all equipment and materials are handled properly and stored safely. Respond quickly and courteously to guest requests and banquet captain instructions. Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel policies and procedures. Support team members to ensure smooth event operations. Report any maintenance issues, shortages, or damages to management. Able to do shampoo on carpet we can also train him

Qualifications:

Previous banquet, catering, or hospitality experience preferred (but not required). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Pay:

$15.00 - $15.50 per hour
