In this role, you will assist with preparing, packaging, and distributing food and commissary items in a secure corrections environment. Duties include following recipes and portion standards, operating basic kitchen and packaging equipment, stocking and rotating inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all work areas. You'll follow safety, security, and hygiene protocols, complete accurate order fulfillment, and support teammates to meet daily production goals while upholding Aramark's commitment to service, respect, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Prepare and package commissary and food items according to standards Follow portion control, recipes, and menu guidelines Operate basic kitchen and packaging equipment safely Receive, stock, and rotate inventory to minimize waste Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment Follow safety, security, and hygiene procedures in a correctional setting Accurately pick, pack, and label inmate commissary orders Complete basic logs, temperature checks, and production records Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals Report equipment, safety, or inventory issues to supervisors promptly Required Skills Food preparation Portion control Inventory stocking and rotation Order picking and packing Basic kitchen equipment operation Sanitation and cleaning procedures Food safety and hygiene compliance Record keeping and temperature logging Basic math for counts and portions Working in secure or regulated environments
