The beautiful Sundial Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Assistant Outlet Manager to help manage operations, inspire the team, and create unforgettable moments for our guests on Sanibel Island. Primary Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily Food & Beverage operations to ensure smooth, efficient service Monitor departmental performance, including sales, covers, payroll, operating costs, and profitability against budgeted targets Maximize revenue opportunities while maintaining cost controls and operational efficiency Supervise, prioritize, train, and support bartenders, servers, and support staff Lead, motivate, and develop the Food & Beverage team to maintain high morale, professionalism, and service standards Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and cleanliness standards Maintain consistent service quality and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and operational standards Manage inventory, stock rotation, equipment use, and storage Collaborate with the Food & Beverage leadership team on short- and long-term operational goals Ensure a safe environment for guests and team members, including accident prevention and reporting Remain knowledgeable of resort services, amenities, outlets, and departmental procedures Support operations during evenings, weekends, holidays, and non-traditional schedules as needed Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of Food & Beverage supervisory experience Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with a focus on operational excellence and guest satisfaction Current ServSafe certification Current Alcohol Compliance certification Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays The Sundial Beach Resort & Spa is managed by Columbus Hospitality Management , a company committed to providing quality service and memorable guest experiences in a positive and welcoming work environment.
