Role:
As a Busser, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area to ensure a pleasant and efficient dining experience for all guests. Your primary focus will be on clearing and resetting tables promptly, assisting servers, and supporting the overall flow of service during busy periods. This position requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to anticipate the needs of both guests and staff. You will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by ensuring that the dining environment is clean, safe, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Ultimately, your efforts will help create a seamless and enjoyable experience that encourages guests to return.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Basic communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and other items up to 25 pounds. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Clear and clean tables promptly after guests have finished dining, including removing dishes, glassware, and utensils. Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware in preparation for the next guests. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables when needed. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles. Restock service stations with necessary supplies such as napkins, condiments, and utensils. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient service flow. Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
