SUMMARY OF POSITION

Remove used tableware as guests finish with it, clear and clean tables after guests leave, and maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Remove used tableware as guests finish using it. Clear tables after guests leave. Take tableware to bus bins and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in the appropriate areas for washing. Between seatings, promptly clean table tops, chairs, and booths. Check the floor and clean as required. Clean windows and seat cracks. Inspect restrooms every 20 minutes and clean as needed. Detail restrooms at the end of the day to set up for the next day. Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate them to the server as needed. Communicate with servers and hosts to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and guest service. Assist servers as needed with plate removal, especially with large parties and during peak periods. Keep all frontofhouse areas clean, including the floor around trash cans and walkways. Thank guests as they are leaving. Wear a headset throughout the shift to communicate with the manager on duty and fellow team members. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

No previous restaurant experience required. Ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). Ability to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be available 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM every day, including weekends and holidays. We are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. Fulltime applicants must consider Keke's their primary place of employment. All employees must wear dark blue jeans, a black belt, black socks, and black nonslip shoes on the first day of work. Must be in the approved Keke's uniform at all times when entering the café for work. Must pass a test before advancing to the next training position. Each location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
