Tuesday through Sunday (Monday off, plus one additional rotating day off) Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and reliable Taqueria Attendant to join our team. This position plays a key role in providing excellent customer service, preparing food, maintaining a clean work environment, and supporting daily operations in a fast-paced, high-volume food service environment . The ideal candidate must be able to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude while delivering quality service to customers. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately. Answer questions about menu items and provide recommendations. Handle customer requests and concerns in a professional manner. Ensure customers receive their orders promptly and accurately. Provide outstanding service that promotes a positive dining experience. Food Preparation Assist with food preparation, including assembling tacos, burritos, and other menu items. Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures. Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout the shift. Cleaning & Organization Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation stations. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Remove trash and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Keep work areas stocked and ready for service at all times. Teamwork & Support Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist team members during busy periods and peak hours. Help fulfill orders and support food delivery when needed. Participate in training and onboarding of new employees when assigned. Cash Handling Operate the cash register accurately. Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments. Follow all company cash handling procedures and policies. Balance transactions and provide accurate change to customers. Health & Safety Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines. Maintain compliance with company policies and local health department requirements. Observe safety procedures to protect customers and team members. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, hospitality, restaurant, or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment . Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods. Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Must be fluent in Spanish. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Working Conditions Fast-paced restaurant environment with frequent customer interaction. Requires flexibility to support operational needs, including weekends and holidays as needed. Must maintain professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude during high-volume periods.
