Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Tree Tops Cafe Attendant to join our team! In this role, you will be the face of our café, providing outstanding customer service while preparing beverages, handling retail transactions, and maintaining a clean, inviting space. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest has a positive experience from the moment they walk in. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm. Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee drinks, teas, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and safety standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, processing cash and card payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep surfaces, seating areas, and equipment to ensure food safety standards are met. Restock supplies as needed, including cups, lids, napkins, and ingredients for beverage preparation. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Handle cash handling duties with accuracy while managing retail sales transactions efficiently. Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Ability to prepare beverages following food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Experience in beverage service or drink preparation in a café setting is preferred. Must be reliable with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
