Employee Assistance Program, jury duty leave, bereavement leave, and more Key Responsibilities for the Hotel Breakfast Attendant include: The Hotel Breakfast Attendant is responsible for ensuring guests have a positive dining experience during breakfast service Food Preparation and Presentation Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet or menu items. Ensure food is fresh, properly displayed, and replenished as needed. Follow food safety and sanitation standards. Guest Service Greet guests warmly and address their questions or needs. Assist with special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions). Cleaning and Maintenance Keep the breakfast area clean and organized, including tables, counters, and buffet stations. Restock supplies like plates, utensils, and condiments. Inventory and Restocking Monitor inventory and report low supplies to management. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Compliance Adhere to health and safety guidelines. Follow hotel policies and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests. What We are Looking for in a Hotel Breakfast Attendant includes: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service (preferred). Friendly and welcoming demeanor. Ability to interact professionally with guests and address their needs. The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines. Ability to prepare and handle food safely (a food handler's permit may be required). Willingness to work collaboratively with coworkers.
