Hiring Agency General Government Cabinet | Department of Veterans Affairs Location 100 Veterans Drive Wilmore, KY 40390 USA Description The Thomson Hood Veterans Center is looking for a self-motivated, energetic Food Service Worker who possesses the desire to care for Kentucky's Veterans. Expectations for this position include but are not limited to: Assist in preparing and serving meals. Maintain dietary work areas equipment and utensils in a safe clean and sanitary condition. Transport food and set up Buffet lines. Ensure scheduled cleaning duties (dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, etc.) are completed. Dispose of food and waste in accordance with rules and regulations. This position has an approved Locality Premium of $4.98, based on the organizational structure and work county it is currently assigned to, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).
