Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate Baker/food prep to join our team. Must be 18 or older. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in baking techniques and creative outlook to being in the kitchen. As a Baker/food prep, you will be responsible for producing baked goods, breakfast items as well as Lunch items that meet our standards of excellence while ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Duties Prepare and bake a variety of, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards. Decorate pastries with artistic flair, ensuring they are visually appealing for customers. Prepare our breakfast and lunch items. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and answering questions about products. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area, adhering to food safety standards. Package baked goods for sale, ensuring they are presented attractively and securely. Assist in catering orders as needed, preparing special items for events or large gatherings. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food preparation and timely delivery of products. Skills Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and enhance their experience. Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including the use of knives and other kitchen tools. Experience in pastry making, cake decorating, and catering services is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Creativity in baking and decorating to develop unique products that delight customers.
