Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about food items, and provide friendly, attentive customer service. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including food prep stations, dining spaces, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards. Restock supplies regularly to ensure the café is well-equipped for daily operations. Follow proper food handling procedures during food preparation and serving to ensure safety and hygiene compliance. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
