Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, blenders, coffee machines, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and other culinary tools. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination in all work areas. Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, plating, and packaging orders accurately while adhering to dietary restrictions and special requests. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, dining areas, utensils, and equipment regularly according to hygiene standards. Follow manual handling protocols during food preparation and cleanup activities to ensure safety for yourself and colleagues. Uphold food safety management practices by monitoring temperatures, labeling items correctly, and adhering to all health regulations. Skills Proven experience in food service roles within restaurants or catering environments; fine dining experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests in person. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations to ensure compliance at all times. Ability to handle weight in the workplace safely during food prep or cleanup tasks; manual handling skills are essential.
