Job Overview Join our dynamic food service team as a Food Service Worker, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including hot meals, cold dishes, and specialty drinks such as coffee or wine, ensuring quality standards are maintained. Provide friendly, attentive in-person customer service to ensure guest satisfaction from greeting through checkout. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, blenders, coffee machines, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and other culinary tools. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination in all work areas. Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, plating, and packaging orders accurately while adhering to dietary restrictions and special requests. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, dining areas, utensils, and equipment regularly according to hygiene standards. Follow manual handling protocols during food preparation and cleanup activities to ensure safety for yourself and colleagues. Uphold food safety management practices by monitoring temperatures, labeling items correctly, and adhering to all health regulations. Skills Proven experience in food service roles within restaurants or catering environments; fine dining experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests in person. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations to ensure compliance at all times. Ability to handle weight in the workplace safely during food prep or cleanup tasks; manual handling skills are essential.
