Daily responsibilities will include setting up serving area, stocking and prepping food itesm, operating POS during meal service, cash handling and overall assisting with the daily operations as needed. Must have reliable transportation and be able to handle working on your feet for several hours straight. Your work schedule is the school calendar, days off are based on that schedule. Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and sales. Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols throughout your shift. Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively, supporting overall food preparation efforts. Provide friendly service by answering customer questions, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Skills Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety management practices. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, order totaling, and change calculation. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining a clean work environment.
