In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while delivering exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving a variety of breakfast items, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and providing in-person customer service that exceeds expectations. Duties Prepare and serve a diverse range of breakfast foods, including hot and cold items, with attention to presentation and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations, following food safety sanitizing procedures. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays. Assist with food handling tasks, including portioning, plating, and replenishing buffet items as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety management standards by monitoring temperature controls and sanitation practices. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems while providing friendly in-person customer service. Support team members with manual handling tasks such as lifting supplies or food containers safely and efficiently. Qualifications Prior experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and food safety protocols. Experience operating kitchen equipment and adhering to sanitizing procedures. Ability to handle weight in the workplace responsibly while performing manual tasks. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of wine pairing or beverage service is a plus but not required. Previous catering or hospitality experience is advantageous; culinary background is preferred.
