Evening shifts Tuesday through Sunday; weekend availability required The Hound's Tale is looking for a skilled, dependable pantry cook who takes pride in preparing creative food and making every plate look its best. Our menu requires attention to detail, careful preparation, and consistent execution. The ideal candidate can follow detailed recipes, handle dishes with multiple components, and maintain quality during busy dinner service. Responsibilities Prepare and plate salads, appetizers, desserts, and other pantry items as assigned. Execute our creative menu with consistent flavor, portions, and presentation. Complete daily prep, including sauces, garnishes, and individual dish components. Keep the pantry station stocked, organized, and ready for service. Communicate with the chef and kitchen team to ensure dishes leave the kitchen accurately and on time. Follow food safety, sanitation, labeling, and storage procedures. Complete station cleaning and closing duties. Qualifications Previous restaurant kitchen experience; pantry or line cook experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to prepare creative dishes with precision and attractive presentation. Strong knife skills, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to manage several orders while maintaining quality. Willingness to learn our menu, accept feedback, and follow the chef's direction.
