Job Description

Food Service Aide What You'll Do As a Food Service Associate, you'll play an important role in supporting patient care by preparing, assembling, and delivering meals while maintaining high standards for food quality, safety, sanitation, and service.
  • Prepare and serve food items for patients and other department needs.
  • Assemble patient meal trays accurately, neatly, and according to established portion and presentation standards.
  • Deliver and retrieve patient trays while using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct meal is provided to each patient.
  • Work various positions on the patient tray line, including dispensing food and organizing tray items in a timely manner.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans manually and using industrial dishwashing equipment.
  • Operate food service equipment safely and according to departmental standards, reporting equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Gather, organize, label, and deliver floor stock nourishment orders to requesting departments. What We're Looking For
  • Basic skill set required
  • Entry-level candidates welcome
  • Work permit required prior to start date for employees age 15
  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, and comprehend the English language
  • Ability to safely lift and maneuver items weighing approximately 25-50 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
  • Dependable, cooperative, and team-oriented approach to work
