The Butchery at Creation Gardens/What Chefs Want is seeking highly motivated employees for our full service, custom meat processing facility. No experience necessary, we will train candidates in the art of meat cutting and ground beef production. Culinary experience is a plus, and we always intend to promote from within. DUTIES and TASKS High regard for maintaining consistency of product (MEAT) Ability to work in a cold environment Be able to stand for 8-10 hours per shift Communicate/report problems, issues or unsafe conditions as they arise Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices Willingness to receive constructive feedback pertaining to job performance Perform final end of day cleanup Exceptional Timeliness and attendance are critical Filling par levels on all meat items

BASIC POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Possess communication (written and oral) and problem solving skills Basic Math Skills are needed to weigh and measure products

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF POSITION

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to repetitive use hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
