JOB DESCRIPTION

Butcher / Slaughter Floor Assistant Butcher will be responsible for breaking down carcasses, cutting and preparing meat to meet customer specifications, and helping on the kill floor. Must be willing to help with packing and clean-up as needed.

• Experience is strongly preferred. Does not need to be professional experience.
• Pay is based on experience .

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Breaking down carcasses as instructed by a cut sheet Work as a team member and learn the skills to break down carcasses in a way that maintains the consistency of Yoder's services. Maintaining the separation of customer's products. Ability to work safely with equipment like meat saws, slicers, grinders, and knives. Deep clean and sanitize workstations Packaging meat Kill Floor Help

• Livestock Handling
• Wash and trim carcasses Requirements Experience is strongly preferred

Ability to stand for long hours in a cooled environment, heavy lifting at times.
