Full time:

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

overtime opportunities come our busy months (August-December). Responsibilities
Work the meat saw on beef, pork, and lamb.
Must be comfortable with humane livestock slaughter in accordance with all safety and animal welfare regulations.
Ensure efficient work flow through the processing process.
Maintain exceptional product quality and presentation.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively.
Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
Positive attitude and ability to keep a team moving in an effective way that is professional and team oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and stand for extended periods.
Dependable Experience
Butcher experience is HIGHLY preferred, but not required.
Previous supervisory experience is a bonus
Previous experience with smoked meat compliance also a bonus.
Strong knowledge of meat cutting and food safety practices preferred

WE ARE OPEN TO TRAINING SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE THIS KNOWLEDGE AND IS INTERESTED IN THE ART OF BUTCHERY.
