Job Description
Job Overview New Town Butcher is seeking an experienced full-time butcher to join our team. We are looking for someone serious, dependable, and skilled who wants a long-term position in a growing, family-owned shop. Responsibilities Bone, cut, trim, and portion beef, lamb, and goat to specification Grind and prepare hamburger and other ground meats Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety regulations Ensure consistency and quality in all meat preparation Safely operate knives, grinders, saws, and other butchering equipment Requirements 1-2 years minimum experience as a butcher or meat cutter (required) Knowledge of meat cuts and processing techniques Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment Reliable car/transportation is required Ability to work independently and efficiently Schedule Full-time position (Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday availability)
