Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess expertise in meat cutting and food safety practices. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meat products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Duties Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications. Ensure all meat products are handled in compliance with food safety regulations. Package and label meat products for sale, ensuring accurate information is provided. Assist customers with their selections, providing excellent customer service and product knowledge. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat cutting area and equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the department. Experience Previous experience and knowledge in a meat cutting role is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers. Experience using knives and other meat cutting tools safely and efficiently. Background in culinary or food production is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
