Job Description

This position qualifies for a $500 signing bonus. $250 will be issued after the first 30 days and 80 hours worked. The remaining $250 will be given after the first 90 days and 240 hours worked.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount. Conduct and facilitate the game by providing rules of the game to participants, according to established requirements. Ability to calculate odds quickly and accurately to pay winning bets and collect losing bets. Ability to determine the appropriate chip denominations for cash received. Be aware of game security and notify appropriate Poker Room management of any irregularities and/or attempts to cheat while the game is being played. Provide our guests with fast, fun, friendly, joyful, focused service. Communicate (written and verbal) and promote positive team and guest relations. Maintain professionalism at all times when working with other team members and/or guests Perform all other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Previous Dealing experience preferred. Knowledge of multiple table games preferred. Successful completion of dealer school/program required. Strong hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity skills are preferred. Must successfully pass an audition to determine the performance levels and abilities. Must be able to complete and maintain the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Gaming Enforcement/ Lottery during employment. Must have strong math skills, with the ability to calculate numbers quickly & accurately. Must possess strong money-handling and documentation skills. Must be able to wear and appear comfortable in the assigned uniform provided by Delaware Park. Must be able to walk and stand for at least a full eight (8)-hour shift. Ability to bend, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat, and grasp as needed. Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to perform duties at station assignments that are busy, with limited space, have high volumes, diverse clientele, noise, music, minimal and/or bright lighting, and variation of climate control. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management is mandatory. Must be able to handle all types of guest-related situations and relay all guest compliments and complaints to Table Games Management.
