Join our team as a Chef, where you'll oversee daily kitchen and café operations while ensuring outstanding food quality, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll lead by example—preparing fresh, high-quality meals, developing your team, and delivering an exceptional dining program. What You'll Do Lead all daily kitchen and food service operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, safety, and customer satisfaction. Prepare and oversee the production of fresh, nutritious meals while maintaining consistency and operational excellence. Hire, train, coach, and develop kitchen and front-of-house team members to build a high-performing, engaged workforce. Manage food, labor, and operating costs while maintaining budget goals and maximizing efficiency. Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and company operating standards. Maintain accurate production records, inventory, ordering, and receiving processes. Build positive relationships with school administrators, staff, students, and clients to support a successful dining program. Support catering, special events, promotions, and initiatives that increase participation and enhance the guest experience. What You'll Bring High school diploma or GED required; culinary training or degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of culinary and food service management experience, preferably in contract food service. Experience leading kitchen teams in a high-volume, fresh food environment. Strong knowledge of food production, menu execution, inventory management, food costing, and labor management. Working knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and HACCP principles. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, POS systems, and food service technology. Valid driver's license with the ability to pass an MVR review, nationwide criminal background check, and fingerprint screening. Why Join Us?
