Job Description
Cherokee Ridge Country Club is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and passionate about preparing quality food in a fast-paced environment. As our Sous Chef, you'll work alongside Our Chef to help oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain food quality and consistency, assist with menu preparation, and ensure a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items to club standards. Assist with daily kitchen operations and food preparation. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards. Help with inventory, prep lists, and organization. Work events, tournaments, and special functions as needed. Support the Kitchen Manager and help lead the kitchen during service. Qualifications Previous line cook or sous chef experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
