Burlingame, CA (No Relo)

Salary:

Up to $95,000 + bonus up to $15,000(performance based)

An upscale, full-service Italian restaurant is seeking a hands-on Head Chef to manage all back-of-house operations and lead a seasoned team.

Responsibilities:

Hire, train, schedule, and supervise all kitchen personnel Maintain food quality, presentation, and execution standards Oversee purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships Manage food and labor cost budgets and reporting Ensure kitchen compliance with safety and sanitation standards Collaborate on seasonal menu planning and daily specials Foster a positive kitchen culture built on accountability and respect

Qualifications:

5+ years of BOH leadership in upscale or full-service Italian kitchens Deep knowledge of Northern Italian ingredients and technique Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with BOH systems, food cost, scheduling, and vendor management Bilingual (English/Spanish or Italian) a plus
