Seafood Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality and presentation of sushi dishes meet the restaurant's standards
• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
• Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items
• Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
• Ensure food safety standards are followed during preparation and serving
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order taking
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety guidelines
• Strong customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Skills:

• Prepare sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
• Food handling: Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices
• Cash handling: Proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately
• Customer service: Excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service

• Sanitation:

  Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures for a clean dining environment
