Full‑Time | In‑Person About Willowbrae Academy Our wellness-centered programming is reflected in our on-site kitchen, where we craft nutritious, diverse, and culturally inclusive meals using dietitian-approved recipes . Menus operate on a 6 week rotation that is refreshed every 6 months to ensure seasonal variety, nutritional integrity, and policy alignment. Role Overview We're seeking a Cook / Chef to contribute to our nurturing and health-focused environment. Reporting to the Academy Director, you'll oversee the preparation of nourishing meals and snacks tailored to our standards, help manage and inventory supplies, and keep our kitchen areas clean and free of hazards.

Job Description Responsibilities:

Execute daily menus and create adjustments when necessary Inventory grocery and janitorial supplies Maintain kitchen, dishware, and eating areas in clean, safe, and sanitized condition Prepare meals specific to dietary requirements, allergies, and special feeding considerations; communicate with staff as needed Qualifications Food Handler Certification , from a recognized course Proficiency in prepping and preparing healthy, child-appropriate meals/snacks First Aid & Infant CPR Certification —or willingness to obtain Clear background and child abuse registry check Strong knowledge of health and nutrition principles for young children Warm, child-centered communication style Collaborative spirit and ability to work closely with colleagues and leadership Good physical stamina for kitchen and housekeeping tasks Why You'll Love Working at Willowbrae Be part of a thriving, wellness-focused early learning community rooted in play-based curriculum and holistic care Work in a beautifully designed environment featuring secure, modern infrastructure and supportive operations.
