Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic pastry chef assistant to join our dynamic kitchen team! As a key member of our staff, you'll assist in preparing and producing high-quality pastries, desserts, and other baked goods for our bakery and cafe.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and portion ingredients for pastry production
• Assist in making and baking pastries, cakes, and desserts
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards
• Support the pastry chef with daily tasks and projects
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure seamless service
• Follow recipes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in a pastry kitchen or similar role
• Culinary degree or certification (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift 25 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
