Executive Chef - Upscale American Restaurant We're creating a new upscale dining experience in Bowling Green—one designed to raise the bar for what dining in our city can be. Our concept will feature elevated American cuisine with a strong focus on premium steaks, chicken, and fresh seafood, paired with a sophisticated, energetic atmosphere and an experience guests will remember long after dinner is over. We're looking for an Executive Chef who wants to build something from the ground up. This is an opportunity for a talented, experienced chef to help shape the culinary identity of the restaurant—from developing the opening menu and creating signature dishes to building the kitchen team and establishing the standards that will define us. What We're Looking For Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or senior culinary leader in an upscale or fine dining environment Strong experience with premium steaks, seafood, and elevated American cuisine A genuine passion for menu development and creating dishes from concept to execution Creativity, attention to detail, and exceptional standards for flavor, presentation, and consistency Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train, develop, and inspire a high-performing kitchen team Understanding of food costs, inventory, purchasing, kitchen systems, and profitability Someone who takes pride in hospitality and understands that great food is part of a much larger guest experience The Opportunity This isn't about stepping into an established kitchen and maintaining what already exists. You'll have the opportunity to help create it. We want a chef who is excited by the challenge of developing a menu, establishing a culinary culture, and helping introduce a level of dining and hospitality that feels fresh and exciting for Bowling Green.
