Job Description

Banquet Chef - Full-time | Flexible Schedule (Evenings & Weekends Required) The Bruce Convention Center is seeking an experienced Banquet Chef to join our culinary team. This position plays a vital role in preparing and executing high-quality meals for a variety of events, including weddings, corporate meetings, conventions, galas, and community celebrations. What You'll Do:

Work in a high volume, fast-paced cooking commercial kitchen Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet our standards Support setup, service, and breakdown of banquet functions Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Work closely with the culinary team to deliver an outstanding guest experience

What We're Looking For:

Prior cooking experience Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
