This role is responsible for menu development, kitchen leadership, and maintaining the highest standards of culinary quality, consistency, and financial performance across all resort dining outlets and event functions. Qualifications Proven experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader within a resort, upscale hotel, or similar full-service hospitality environment Strong culinary expertise with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute creative, seasonally driven menus that celebrate local and regional ingredients and reflect the natural beauty and character of the Traverse City region Demonstrated financial acumen with a track record of managing food costs, budgets, and kitchen operations to drive profitability and operational excellence across multiple outlets Responsibilities Lead all culinary operations across all resort dining outlets and event functions, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and execution that aligns with the resort's brand standards and guest expectations Develop and execute innovative, seasonally driven menus that celebrate the rich agricultural and culinary heritage of the Traverse City region while delivering an exceptional guest dining experience Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing culinary team while fostering a culture of culinary excellence, creativity, and continuous improvement in a premier Michigan destination environment
