Healthy Made Simple is a locally owned fresh meal delivery service and Grab & Go Market dedicated to providing delicious, nutritious, and convenient meals to our community. We specialize in high-quality, made-from-scratch meals that change weekly, offering a dynamic and steady paced work environment. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Part-Time Chef/Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to join our team, working Sundays and/or Mondays. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, love large-batch cooking, and take pride in creative, high-quality meal preparation with strong attention to detail we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute large-batch meals following standardized recipes. Read, interpret, and quantify recipes accurately. Maintain a high standard of quality, taste, and presentation. Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring meals are prepared on schedule. Collaborate with the kitchen team in a family-style environment. Demonstrate creativity and attention to detail in plating and meal presentation. Problem-solve and take initiative in the kitchen when needed. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
Experience in a professional kitchen setting (large-batch cooking preferred). Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for cooking and a commitment to high-quality meals. Excellent organizational, communication and multitasking skills. Ability to work some Saturdays, Sundays and/or Mondays reliably and weekly.
