Job Description
Now hiring a chef who also works the line. This is not a "create recipes and leave the cooking to others" position. You will run the kitchen and cook on the line during service. What you'll do Cook on the line during lunch and/or dinner service Prep, plate, and keep tickets moving at a busy trattoria pace Lead the kitchen: quality, consistency, food cost, and cleanliness Help with specials and menu updates while keeping the existing Italian menu strong Train and work alongside cooks; jump in wherever the station needs you Follow health-code, food-safety, and opening/closing procedures What we're looking for Proven experience as a cook and as a chef or kitchen lead (not kitchen-management only) Comfort on sauté, grill, pasta, and expo when needed Ability to work nights, weekends, and busy service Strong Italian or similar from-scratch cooking preferred Clean, organized, calm under pressure Valid food handler / ServSafe (or willing to get it right away)
