Job Summary We're seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to prepare fresh, high-quality sushi and support a smooth, organized kitchen. You'll handle ingredients with care, follow food-safety practices, and work closely with the kitchen team to deliver a welcoming dining experience.

Consistent preparation and careful food handling help guests enjoy flavorful meals with confidence. Responsibilities Prepare sushi, rice, sauces, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Select, portion, and store ingredients while maintaining a clean, safe workstation. Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage orders and keep service moving. Monitor ingredient freshness and communicate supply needs to the appropriate team member. Qualifications Culinary experience and knowledge of sushi preparation and food-safety practices are preferred. Ability to work collaboratively, follow recipes, and maintain an organized workspace. Additional experience in teaching, tutoring, curriculum development, classroom management, or youth programs; working with children or students; childhood development; adult education; visual and performing arts; creative arts instruction; choreography, dance instruction, dancing, theater, photography, sewing, or musical instruments is not required for this kitchen role.

Pay:

$21.50 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 52.0 per week
