Overview Full-Time Catering Chef - Drexelbrook Catering & Events (Delaware County, PA) Drexelbrook , an award-winning on- and off-site catering company located in Delaware County, PA, is seeking a Full-Time Catering Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. We are known for our exceptional service, creative cuisine, and commitment to excellence in every event we serve — including elegant weddings, high-profile corporate events and services to other locations in PA.-DEL and NJ. Position Overview As one of our Catering Chefs , you will work directly under the Executive Chef and Culinary Manager , supporting kitchen operations for both on-site and off-site events. You'll be responsible for executing high-quality food preparation, presentation, and service while helping lead a team in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. This is a hourly paid position ideal for a passionate and organized culinary professional committed to excellence. Key Responsibilities Produce food for catered events assigned to you utilizing Executive Chef's recipes Work with kitchen staff and event timelines Maintain food safety and sanitation standards Collaborate with event sales, operations and clients to execute what is promised Ensure consistency and quality across all culinary offerings ✅ Required Culinary Skills Experience in high-volume banquet and event production Proficiency in reading, understanding and executing event BEO's Experience working off premise events. Strong plating, buffet and stations presentation techniques Skilled in making sauces, roasting, grilling, and sautéing Basic Knowledge of allcuisines and dietary accommodations including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and the Big 9 allergens Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and safety protocols Knife skills Practice clean as you go Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen management practices. Excellent culinary skills with experience in menu planning and food preparation. Familiarity with inventory management systems and food service operations. Ability to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation. Effective communication skills. Experience in the hospitality industry with a focus on customer satisfaction.
