Description About the Role Chang Thai Restaurant PA is a well-regarded authentic Thai restaurant in Grove City seeking an experienced Thai Chef to lead our kitchen. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the quality, consistency, and authenticity of every dish we serve. The ideal candidate has deep, demonstrated expertise in traditional Thai cuisine and the cooking techniques behind it. Responsibilities Direct and personally participate in the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of authentic Thai dishes, including curries, drunken noodles, pad thai, crab rangoon, soups, appetizers, and desserts
Plan, develop, and price menu items consistent with traditional Thai recipes
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, portioning, presentation, and consistency
Manage food preparation workflow and direct kitchen staff
Order ingredients and supplies and maintain inventory
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health-code requirements
Keep kitchen records and assist with cost control Requirements Minimum 18 months of verifiable experience working in a Thai restaurant. A verifiable experience letter from a prior employer is required.
Demonstrated mastery of authentic Thai cooking techniques and regional dishes
Ability to work the full schedule listed above
Working knowledge of food-safety and sanitation practices Pay & Schedule $20.00 per hour, 40 hours per week
Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
